Save the dates for our 2017-18 Academic Rep Co-ordinators' network meetings

We are delighted to announce the dates for the forthcoming meetings of our Academic Representation Co-ordinators’ (ARC) network. Our ARC network brings together academic representation and student engagement staff from universities, colleges and students’ associations across Scotland to learn, share and develop in their roles.

This year, based on feedback from previous events, we are taking ARC on tour!  Forthcoming dates are:

  • Wednesday 29th November 2017 at City of Glasgow College
  • Tuesday 20th February 2018 at Dundee University Students’ Association
  • Wednesday 9th May 2018 at University of Stirling Students' Union

Registration for the November meeting will open in due course, and the agenda will include discussion of sustainability in the curriculum, the use of student-led teaching awards in evidence-led enhancement, and pupil engagement in both schools and universities.

Topics at our following two meetings will include developments in university and college quality activity, lead representation, approaches to online course rep training, personal development in student engagement roles, and much more.

More information about the network can be found on our ARC Network webpage, including materials from previous meetings and how to join the network's Jiscmail discussion forum.
