sparqs Academic Representation Co-ordinators' Network meeting - 14th February 2017

The next meeting of our Academic Representation Co-ordinators’ network is taking place on Tuesday 14th February 2017 in Edinburgh and is still open for bookings.  The meeting will share national and institutional practice on a number of topics of current priority, such as engaging in internal quality activities, accrediting and recognising the work of academic reps, and a specific session on how participants can support lead student officers with education remits.

There will also be a summary of the key themes emerging from sparqs’ 2016-17 Annual Support Visits which for the first time this year include both the college and university sectors.

See the event booking page for further information, including the provisional agenda, and to register for a place.

The event hashtag, for use on Twitter, is #sparqsARC

The event will begin at 10.30am, with refreshments available from 10.00am, and will finish at 4.00pm. Lunch will be provided, and the event is free to attend. Provisionally one place will be available per institution, for a staff member with an academic representation co-ordination role, though there may be some flexibility on this depending on bookings.

If you want to discuss this event further please contact Simon Varwell, Development Consultant – simon.varwell@sparqs.ac.uk - 07815 938966.
