We are pleased to publish our Annual Report for 2013.
2012-13 was an eventful year, with the development of our new strategic plan and sector celebration reports, as well as publication of the sector-owned Student Engagement Framework for Scotland. All of these publications were introduced at a Parliamentary reception in December 2012 which was held to celebrate successes in student engagement across nearly a decade of sparqs’ existence.
There have been many highlights throughout the year and we trust that the report will give you a flavour of our activities, including our work on Student Partnership Agreements; supporting student engagement within the college regionalisation process, through Partnerships for Change; the success of the Institutional Associate Trainer scheme in reaching more course reps; working with ENABLE to deliver course rep training to students in supported education; promoting student engagement internationally; and development of our new website to make all of our resources and work more accessible.
