Student Engagement Staff Network meeting


Our Student Engagement Staff Network had its first meeting of 2021 on Tuesday 9th February, which was also the first in our new format of monthly, half-day events.

The network is aimed at staff in universities and colleges with student engagement and academic representation development roles.

The meeting included sessions on our project around monitoring the diversity of course reps, and creating and using data during COVID-19.  Our usual split session involved a college session on the 'College of the Future' and a university session on the QAA Enhancement Theme student-led project.

The event was free to join and took place online from 10.00am until 1.00pm.

Online meeting security

The meeting was run online, with the following security process:  

Simply copy and paste the link you receive in your joining instructions directly into your browser. The link is not available on social media or our website and is sent by email only to those who have registered for the event. To ensure only those who have registered join the meeting, we ask that you do not share the link with anyone. You will be asked to input a password to join the meeting. When you join, you will go to a “waiting room”, a member of sparqs staff will then admit only those who have registered. If the identity of a person is not known, they will not be admitted, so please enter your name as the name you registered to attend.
