By booking this event delegates committed to the following three-part package:
~ Part 1: online event - Wednesday 20th July 2022
~ Part 2: self-study module
~ Part 3: two-day residential event - Monday 8th & Tuesday 9th August 2022 at the Apex City Quay Hotel in Dundee.
That’s Quality! is aimed at new and returning student officers and students' association staff with an education remit. It provides a valuable addition to your planned induction for new officers - introducing participants to the quality enhancement agenda, looking at why quality matters to students and how to use it to make change.
To retain the benefits of both online and in-person delivery, the 2022 event was split into three parts, as noted above. The first part of That’s Quality! was a one-day, sector-specific, online event. The second part is an online self-study module, which provides officers with a more detailed overview of quality in Scotland, which is designed to be used throughout an officer’s time in office. Finally, attendees of both the college and university events came together for a joint, two-day, in-person training event on 8th and 9th August. The two-day event was residential, with a dinner on the first evening, allowing for some much-missed social and networking opportunities. The joint event was an opportunity for interactive group activities, allowing attendees to explore the learning in practice and to network with colleagues from across the tertiary sector.
Attendees were required to attend both the sector-specific online session and the joint residential event. For any questions or concerns around booking onto the full package, delegates were asked to contact Eve Lewis, Director (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Nicola Cameron, Business Manager (email@example.com).

Following Part 1 of the event on 20th July, access to the self-study module was emailed to all those who registered for the event. The online self-study module constitutes Part 2 of the event, which delegates were required to complete prior to Part 3 of the event, i.e. the two-day residential event in August.
The event hashtag, for use on Twitter throughout all parts of the event, was #sparqsTQ
The one-day, online event on 20th July began at 10.00am and finished by 4.00pm. It took place through Zoom.
The two-day, residential event on 8th & 9th August began at 10.30am on day 1 and finished by 5.00pm on day 2.
If you have any queries regarding any parts of this event, please contact Megan Brown, Development Consultant - firstname.lastname@example.org.
