National Education Officers’ Network meeting

Description

The third meeting of our National Education Officers’ Network (NEON) for academic year 2022-23 took place on Thursday 9th March 2023, from 10.00am until 1.00pm, via Zoom.  The meeting continued our series of half-day events for student officers with education remits from colleges and universities across Scotland. The network is designed to be a space for officers to network and work on issues together in a cross-sector capacity, which is of particular imporance this year, as the sector moves towards a tertiary approach to quality.  The NEON meetings allow officers to keep abreast of developments and contribute to the shaping of the tertiary arrangements.

The event hashtag, for use on Twitter, was #sparqsNEON

The link was open from 9.45am, and the meeting itself began at 10.00am and finished by 1.00pm. It was free to join and delegates were required to register, in order that we could monitor numbers and keep the event secure.

As usual, we invited student officers with education remits from colleges and universities across Scotland to attend.
