Developing Post Graduate Taught Student Engagement

Description

This full day event was aimed at taught Masters students and education officers - a consultation event aimed at producing resources to support students’ associations and universities to develop their PGT student engagement.

As part of the day we ran the “Mastersness” workshop, designed to facilitate discussions and debate between all of those involved in the Post Graduate student experience about the nature of masters level study.

Event objectives:

  • To develop your understanding of what Masters level study can entail by delivery of the “Mastersness” workshop developed by QAA.
  • To create a student learning experience tool suitable for the PGT student.
  • To identify what PGT students want their representation systems to look like.
  • To identify issues specific to PGT students that NUS Scotland can take forward.
