sparqs’ contribution to new global resource on students as partners in assessment

sparqs was delighted to participate in Advance HE’s global member benefit project “Students as Partners in Assessment” in spring 2021, whose final resource has just been published. Shaped by ongoing conversations during the pandemic about the value of student as partners in assessment and wider learning, the project benefitted from work by sparqs to support collaboration in this area in Scotland.

This initiative, led by Advance HE, saw contributions from experts across the world, including sparqs, to a series of webinars, podcasts and asynchronous forum discussions, all of which were open to staff and student officer participants from institutions around the world. It culminated in the recent publication of a guide with resources and tools relating to partnership in assessment that had been gathered throughout the project. sparqs was involved in coordinating many of the Scottish staff and students’ contributions to this work, was a part of a plenary panel discussion, and submitted resources to the final guide.

More information about the project and the guide, plus other outputs available to Advance HE members, can be found on the project’s page on the Advance HE website.
