Following over six years of valued support, we recently wished farewell to two of our Trustees, Sabina Strachan and Gillian Plunkett.
Both Sabina and Gillian took up their Trustee roles in early 2017 and were an invaluable source of support and guidance while sparqs was still in the relatively early stages of being established as a SCIO. They have continued to be a source of knowledge and expertise over the years, helping to improve our governance systems and processes as the organisation has developed.
We were sad to say goodbye to them at our recent Trustee Board meeting in May 2023. We thank them for their insight and experience over the years, both in their governance roles and for their wider support at sparqs' events and conferences.
On behalf of the sparqs team and the rest of the Trustees, we thank them both for all of their support and contributions. We wish Gillian well in her retirement from City of Glasgow College and wish Sabina well in her future ventures. Both will be greatly missed by us all!
