sparqs workshop at HEA Annual Conference

sparqs presented a workshop on Student Partnership Agreements to the Higher Education Academy’s Annual Conference in Coventry on 3rd/4th July 2013. The conference focuses on the theme of ‘Powerful Partnerships: defining the learning experience’.

Our work with the sector on Student Partnership Agreements fits into this theme well, and so Mike Williamson, Development Advisor at sparqs, presented alongside Josefine Björkqvist, President for Education and Employability at Aberdeen University Students’ Association.

Student Partnership Agreements are designed to help create a focus for institutional discussions around the relationship between an institution and its students’ association. The agreements, first outlined in the Scottish Government’s review of Post-16 education, have been developed in conjunction with staff and students from the higher and further education sectors. This conference will give us an opportunity to highlight our sector-leading work, and to discuss the theme of partnership with colleagues from the wider UK higher education sector.

Further information on the conference is available on the HEA website:
