sparqs, in conjunction with NUS Scotland, ran Supporting College Student Governors Autumn Course from the 12th to the 14th October 2012. The event was a success with over 40 officers attending over the three days. 85% rated the event positively with around 40% rating the event as excellent.
The event looked at developing the necessary skills officers need for their time in office as well as learning and teaching and the current college sector regionalisation. We ran an exciting and challenging simulation on the final day that brought all the skills and knowledge together.
