Welcome to our new website!

….and the new format for our news articles! We’ll no longer be publishing a quarterly newsletter – instead, news will appear more regularly in the News Articles section and if you’re on our mailing list you’ll receive the articles direct into your inbox. If you received this article via email you’re already signed up to our mailing list! If you wish to sign up now click here. If you subscribe to RSS feeds and wish to add the sparqs News Feed to your list you can do so by clicking on the RSS link below the articles on our Home page.

Our new website contains a wealth of new information and resources to help the sector in the development of student engagement. Following the creation of our new Strategic Plan for 2013-18, we have redeveloped our website to reflect our four strategic objectives of Supporting Students, Supporting Institutions, Supporting the Sector and Developing a Culture.

On our website, you can find lots of information about our different areas of work – from our engagement in sector-level decision-making to course rep training to our events; plus a wealth of training materials for both staff and students.

The website also hosts the nationally-agreed Student Engagement Framework for Scotland, an interactive resource which includes links to examples of each of the elements and features of the framework. We also host the webpages of Partnerships for Change, the college sector regionalisation project we jointly run with NUS Scotland.

Please do have a browse around, and if you have any questions then feel free to contact us. As ever, you can also follow us on Twitter at @sparqs_scotland

Finally….watch this space for the forthcoming launch of our resource library where you will find an ever-growing range of toolkits, examples of practice and publications that can help you in the development of student engagement in your institution.
