Developing Post Graduate Taught student engagement

On 17th December 2014 sparqs ran a consultation event to explore what PGT engagement could and should look like and what resources are needed to support it.

We began with the “Mastersness” workshop, to kick off discussions and get participants thinking about the issues. Participants went on to consider what a PGT student learning experience might look like and shared examples in their institutions in order to discuss what an “ideal” PGT engagement and representation system could look like.

There was a very full and enthusiastic discussion during the day and we’d very much like to thank participants for coming along with so many ideas and suggestions.

From the contributions on the day we intend to produce resources to support students’ associations and universities to develop their PGT student engagement.

A discussion paper including potential outputs based on the discussion on the day will be available on the event page.
