We are pleased to announce that the call for proposals is now open for #sparqs19, our conference taking place on Thursday 28th March 2019 at Surgeons' Hall in Edinburgh.
The theme for the conference is ‘Student Engagement for All’, with proposals invited for presentations, workshops and poster/display sessions, from across Scotland, the rest of the UK and internationally.
Proposals should support one of the following five sub-themes:
- Engaging the diversity of students.
- Student engagement and co-creation of the curriculum.
- Demonstrating impact and addressing institutional and national priorities.
- Engagement throughout the learner journey.
- Building capacity.

The closing date for submitting proposals is Friday 12th October 2018 (extended from 5th October).

Wider conference details

Student Engagement Awards!
Once again, the conference will end with the sparqs Student Engagement Awards, which were a huge success at our two previous conference. Nominations for the Awards will open during week beginning 3rd September 2018.

Opportunities for International Delegates
Once again we will be holding a pre-conference International Delegates' Day, the day before the main conference. We will also be arranging optional site visits to institutions and sector agencies, which many international delegates participated in during the week of our 2017 conference. The visits will allow people to hear more about our student engagement and quality processes, whilst seeing a bit more of Scotland! Further details of the International Delegates' Day and the site visits will be advertised in due course.
