sparqs' COVID-19 information hub

As we all find ourselves having to rapidly transform our working practices in the face of the COVID-19 crisis, sparqs has developed a COVID-19 information hub as a dedicated space to provide updates about our refocused work plans, our forthcoming online events and support, as well as resources to help engage students in shaping the current transformation of the learning experience.

One of our initial priorities is to support current representatives to understand the importance of their role at this time and to help them to carry it out effectively. Through this, we will identify areas where students need to influence institutional and national educational policy decisions and support them to do so, laying the foundations in the next few months for work in the coming academic year.

We are continually reviewing the guidance on dealing with the situation and will continue to develop and update the information on the hub on an ongoing basis.

To all our colleagues in Scotland and around the world, we wish you, and all those dear to you, a safe journey through this extremely difficult time. Our thoughts and best wishes to you all.

If you have any queries, or suggestions of any support sparqs can provide within the sector, please contact Eve Lewis, Director - eve.lewis@sparqs.ac.uk
