Thursday 20th August - NEON catch-up for university officers
While NEON meetings are usually for officers from both sectors, please note that this meeting is aimed at university officers only, as college officers already have our two-day That’s Quality! Colleges event during August and we are mindful of the significant time commitment which that already involves. See below for the next NEON meeting for both sectors, in October.

25th-27th August - Residential Training Event for course rep student trainers
Our annual training event to equip trainers with the skills and knowledge necessary to fulfil their role delivering a range of Course Rep Training products. The event is for the sparqs' team of Associate Trainers (ATs) as well as Institutional Associate Trainers (IATs) recruited to deliver in-house Course Rep Training by institutions in our IAT scheme. Further details and instructions on how to register deleegates will be sent to institutions in the IAT scheme in due course.

Wednesday 16th September - Joint Advisory Group (JAG) meeting
Following the JAG meeting on 6th May, it was agreed that a further meeting of this (usually annual) meeting would be beneficial in the Autumn. JAG brings together our College Advisory Group (CAG) and our University Advisory Group (UAG) to explore joint work areas across the sectors. The meeting held in May was extremely valuable and we thank members for their continued support and involvement.

Thursday 1st October - SESN informal catch-up
Our second informal, online, catch-up meeting of our Student Engagement Staff Network, to allow network members from both colleges and universities to keep in touch and share practice and experiences during the COVID-19 crisis.

Wednesday 7th October - NEON event for both college and university officers
Our regular National Education Officers' Network event for both college and university student officers with an enducation remit.
- please save the date for now - registration will open nearer the time. The meeting will take place during the morning, timings TBC.

Wednesday 18th November - SESN meeting
Our first regular, online, Student Engagement Staff Network meeting of 2020-21, for staff in universities and colleges with student engagement roles and staff with responsibilities for student rep system.
- the event will open for booking nearer the time, in the meantime please save the date! The meeting will take up the majority of the day, spaced out with long breaks in between sessions.
