Responding to diversity

This Feature of the Student Engagement Framework focuses on the diverse nature of both students and Institutions. It looks at how mechanisms for engagement should acknowledge this diversity to enable all those who wish to engage can do so regardless of their background.

The 'Representation & Partnership' and 'Learning and  Teaching Engagement' sections of the resource library contains lots of information relating  to this.

A particularly good resource is:

Course Rep Training for Students in Supported Education - sparqs

A full range of resources to enable the training of course reps in supported education.

Staff and students of Stevenson College, Cardonald College, Clydebank College and Stepanie Miller of sparqs designed, developed and piloted a whole host of materials for students needing additional support to represent their fellow class mates.

From the resource library page you  can also use the resource library search box where  you can input specific search terms such as -

'additional support', 'diversity' or any other suitable criteria including Institution Titles and this will bring  up all information relating to your  search.

The Top 10 Most Viewed resources can also  be found on the resource library page.
