Systematic Literature Review of "Hard to Reach" Students and methods of Inclusive Engagement - University of Cambridge

This is a systematic literature review published in 2017 which formed one of the research outputs from REACT (Realising Engagement through Active Culture Transformation), a project funded by HEFCE, the then Higher Education Funding Council for England (a predecessor of England’s Office for Students). The literature review explored so-called “hard to reach” students and the impact that student engagement initiatives had on student attainment and retention. There is more about the publication in our October 2022 Talking Student Engagement interview with the lead author, Cassie Lowe.
