We are excited to invite student officers to the first National Education Officers’ Network (NEON) meeting of 2022-23, which will take place in person, at Fife College’s Dunfermline Campus (Carnegie Conference Centre), on Thursday 6th October 2022.
For the coming year, we are holding a mix of face-to-face and online NEON meetings. The final event in May 2023 will most likely be in person, to wrap up the year. Following the success of the joint event in May 2022 along with colleagues from SESN and JAG, the May 2023 event will most likely take the same format. The exact date and further details will be published in due course.
We have published provisional agendas for each meeting, to give members a broad idea in advance, of the topics that will be covered at each meeting. The October event will encompass an opportunity to further deepen your understanding of sparqs, your role and the sector’s main educational developments. We are also planning some fun activities for you to participate in!

The network provides an opportunity for officers from both colleges and universities with an education remit, to discuss and work on key sector issues together.
We would highly encourage you to join us whether you are a seasoned or newly-appointed student officer. NEON provides a welcoming space for individuals to share their experiences and knowledge, providing an opportunity to network with colleagues!
