Forthcoming sparqs' resources
Following our mailing to last year’s course reps at the tail end of the academic year just ended, watch this space for similar mailings for your new course reps! The mailings will include motivational and informative messages to help reps adapt to their roles. Although it is not our usual practice to communicate directly with reps, we are making an exception in the case of these mailings, for the first part of the 2020-21 academic year. In particular, these might be welcomed by students’ associations with limited resources and personnel, to give them some ready-to-go comms to their reps.
In addition, look out for the next in our series of briefings for running course rep systems during COVID-19. Our next briefing note theme will be running student-staff meetings, including top tips on running meetings online and capturing up-to-date feedback on COVID. You can see the first in this series, on preparing your course rep system and recruiting reps, which was published in July.
