This resource is aimed at those who are managing and recruiting student engagement practitioners, and draws upon sparqs’ Professional Standards Framework for Student Engagement (PSFSE) to create or update student engagement job profiles. It outlines the PSFSE and the various types of student engagement role found in our sector, offers approaches for building on the values, knowledge and activities in the framework to shape person specifications and job descriptions, and includes a number of example job descriptions from across the sector. It also offers guidance on how sparqs can support recruitment including through our student engagement jobs board.
