CRT delivered by sparqs
This year's Introductory CRT is continuing in an online format, and is again in two parts. The first is a self-study online module, which reps will access via their institution's VLE, and the second part is webinar-based training, delivered by sparqs Associate Trainers via Zoom. The training is aimed at course reps who have not attended rep training before. It aims to develop confidence in their role, as being a course rep for the first time can be a daunting prospect.
If you would like to book training for apprentices, students with supported education needs or senior phase school pupils at college, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your needs. As usual, our materials for postgraduate students and ESOL students, and introductory materials translated into the Gaelic language, are available for institutions to deliver in-house.
Materials available for in-house delivery
The CRT products developed for in-house delivery include materials for taught postgraduate reps; materials for ESOL students; and introductory training translated into Gaelic.
Our team of Associate Trainers are newly-trained from our annual training event, which took place from 23rd -26th August 2022, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to fulfil their role. We are delighted to have 6 ATs continuing from last year, as well as 10 new ATs joining the team for 2022-23. The trainers have a wealth of experience from their studies and course rep activity within their institutions - read their biographies on the Our staff page of our website.
