Supporting Students

Our first strategic aim commits us to support students to engage at all levels in enhancing their educational experience. You can read the full detail of strategic aim 1 on page 6 of our Strategic Plan 2013-18.

Students engage in shaping the learning experience both as individuals and as representatives or officers in their students' association, and the support required varies considerably between the different roles and learning experiences.  For example, we provide a wide range of training and support to course reps.

We also provide support to students' association officers in both colleges and universities, to help them engage at the institutional level with issues relating to the quality of learning and teaching.

You can find more about our Supporting Students pages in the links on the right under "This section".

sparqs' lead member of staff for Supporting Students is David Scott and you can contact him for more information about this area of work.
