Students engage in shaping the learning experience both as individuals and as representatives or officers in their students' association, and the support required varies considerably between the different roles and learning experiences. Our Course Rep Training is a key part of sparqs' work.
We also provide support to senior student officers in students' associations, to help them engage at the institutional level with issues relating to the quality of learning and teaching.
Our That's Quality! event is delivered annually to education officers and those who support them and is a key induction opportunity for both incoming and continuing officers.
Officers are also supported and engaged throughout the year via our National Education Officers' Network (NEON), which meets three times a year and is a key channel for allowing officers to keep abreast of relevant information and to engage with and contribute to issues at a national level.
