2023 sees 20 years since sparqs was founded, and we are delighted to be celebrating with a special event… and the return of our Student Engagement Awards!
At a time of considerable change in our sector, the voice of students in quality has never been more valued or more important, and we want to hear your stories of successful student engagement through submissions to our 2023 Student Engagement Awards – see the awards webpage for all the details and how to make your submissions.
We have seven categories for you to consider: they aim to reflect, not just on the last two years’ practice since our 2021 awards, but also, the longer period of sparqs’ existence. We have an award for an outstanding academic rep and one to celebrate staff, and practice in three key themes in student engagement of sustainability, diversity and digital.
Submissions close at the end of June. Awards will be announced at a special 20th birthday party for sparqs on Thursday 5th October 2023, 6pm until 8pm at DoubleTree SKYbar, Edinburgh.
We are seeking submissions from across Scotland... please spread the word of our awards to staff and student reps, and get thinking about the great examples you can submit!
