Whether you are a returning officer or a newly elected one, please make sure you sign up for NEON – the National Education Officers Network run by sparqs. The network is open to education and representation elected officers in universities and colleges, with a remit in academic representation and education.
After the success of sparqs’ Tertiary Quality Student Expert Group last academic year, we carried out a review of the purpose of the network, also considering the latest changes in the sector. We want to ensure that officers have access to ongoing training and support throughout the year, therefore the next NEON meetings will focus on officers’ development, building on what you have already learnt during That's Quality! and ensuring that you are further equipped in engaging with the new review method.
There will be three online NEON meetings, taking place on Zoom, from 10.00am to 1.00pm, and a final in-person meeting around May 2025.
