The Student Engagement Staff Network (SESN) is back for academic year 2026-27. Make sure you save the dates in your diary! The diary requests for the meetings will be sent out shortly for members to accept/decline to confirm attendance.
Anyone who is signed up to the SESN JISCMail will automatically be invited. You can sign up to the SESN Jiscmail here.
2026-27 dates
- Thursday 1st October 2026 – online, 10.00am to 12noon
- Thursday 26th November 2026 – online, 10.00am to 12noon
- Thursday 28th January 2027 – online, 10.00am to 12noon
- Thursday 18th March 2027 – online, 1.00pm to 3pm
The meetings will take place via MS Teams. The agendas will be circulated closer to the dates and they will reflect current developments in student engagement. The network is open for staff in universities and colleges with student engagement and academic representation development roles.
As in previous years, we are planning on running the last SESN in person, on Thursday 13th May 2027, as a joint event with the National Education Officers’ Network (NEON) and sparqs Tertiary Advisory Group (STAG), so keep an eye on the sparqs’ news articles for further information.
