Making HGIOC work for you and your students. - Monday 5th November 2018

Following our That’s Quality! training with college officers in August, we will be running an event on Monday 5th November 2018 at Airthrey Castle in Stirling. The event is designed to help officers consolidate their knowledge and use the quality arrangements to help shape their work plans for the rest of the year. The event will also offer the opportunity for officers to work with key staff from the college to build a shared understanding of roles and responsibilities. Please hold this date in your diaries! An agenda and event registration details will be advertised in due course.

The first part of the event will be aimed at college student officers and students’ association staff, to help inform you about HGIOC arrangements, plan your involvement for the year and allow you to feed into upcoming sector meetings.

After lunch we invite college quality staff to join us to develop shared plans.

Prior to attending this event, please:

  • Familiarise yourself with the HGIOC arrangements – details and useful links can be found on our That’s Quality! event page.
  • Get in contact with your quality team to ensure you are involved in the development of the Evaluative Report and Enhancement Plan for 2017-18 which is due to be submitted in October.
  • Start planning students’ association involvement in the next phase of implementation within your college.

Please watch this space for further information and registration details! For an overview of our support around HGIOC to date, please see our separate HGIOC update article.

If you have any queries about the forthcoming event, please contact Steph Kirkham, Development Consultant – steph.kirkham@sparqs.ac.uk.
