The dates have now been confirmed for our annual induction events for officers, both of which will take place online via Zoom.
- That’s Quality! Universities will take place on Monday 12th & Tuesday 13th July 2021.
- That's Quality! Colleges will take place on Monday 9th & Tuesday 10th August 2021.
Following feedback from last year’s events, the events will be slightly shortened to ensure that attendees have plenty of time away from the computer. The events will therefore run from 9.30am – 2.30pm each day and will include regular breaks.
Both events are aimed at new and returning student officers with an education remit and students' association staff. They will provide a valuable addition to your planned induction for new officers - introducing participants to the quality enhancement agenda, looking at why quality matters to students and how to use it to make change. This year’s events will also include a focus on the ongoing impact of the pandemic as students begin to return to campus.
Participants will be required to complete a short, online training module prior to the events, which will provide essential background information to enable successful participation in the training days.

While you're saving those dates.... another key date for officers is the next National Education Officers' Network (NEON) meeting taking place on Thursday 20th May 2021. We hope to welcome both outgoing and incoming officers to this meeting, and the agenda will be themed around ‘outduction’, handovers, etc. It will take place online, from 10.00am until 1.00pm and bookings will open in mid-April, after the Easter break.
