15th Enhancement Themes Conference - 7th June 2018

Save the date for QAA Scotland's 15th Enhancement Conference - Evaluation, Evidence and Enhancement: inspiring staff and students.  The conference is taking place on Thursday 7th June 2018, at Glasgow Caledonian University.

The conference will showcase activity around the latest Enhancement Theme on use of evidence to enhance the student experience.  The use of evidence to evaluate the student experience and promote student success has never been more vital. The Evidence for Enhancement Theme considers data and metrics alongside creative, qualitative approaches and asks: 'are we using effective evidence to bring about change and genuinely inspire our students?'

The conference will share current thinking around the following four tracks:

  • Navigating the data landscape
  • Using qualitative and quantitative approaches to enhance student retention, attainment and employability
  • Finding effective evidence for prompting students' engagement in their learning
  • Evaluating improvements in the student experience.

Submissions for session proposals are now closed, as of Tuesday 16th January 2018.  Proposals were invited in a variety of formats, including papers, lightning talks and workshops.  Student-led contributions were highly encouraged and we look forward to seeing the confirmed programme of sessions.
