Join us for the final sparqs’ National Education Officers’ Network (NEON) meeting of the 2020-21 academic year, on Thursday 20th May 2021. NEON was set up in response to feedback from student officers who expressed the need for a national officer network with members from both universities and colleges.
The National Education Officers’ Network is designed to be a space for officers to network and work on issues together in a cross-sector capacity. This event is aimed at student officers with education remits from colleges and universities across Scotland.
This NEON event will cover:
- The latest updates in the sector during COVID-19.
- ‘Outduction’ and how you can most effectively finish up your time in office.
- Latest updates in the Scottish Funding Council review.
You can view the agenda for the day for further details.
The event hashtag, for use on Twitter, is #sparqsNEON
The event will take place from 10.00am – 1.00pm and is free to attend. It will take place online through Zoom – joining instructions will be sent out nearer to the time of the event.
As we are not constrained by venue size, there is no limit to the number of participants from institutions. However, we still require registrations so that we know numbers and can keep the event secure. Both outgoing and incoming officers are invited to attend this event.
