National Education Officers' Network meeting

Description

Our first meeting of sparqs’ National Education Officers’ Network (NEON) of 2024-25 took place on Tuesday 10th December.

NEON is designed to be a space for student officers with education remits from colleges and universities across Scotland, to network and work on issues together in a cross-institutional capacity. The purpose of the network was reviewed for 2024-25 and will focus on providing continuous training to officers.  This academic year, the ongoing training programme will particularly focus on preparing officers to engage with the new Tertiary Quality Enhancement Framework.

The first NEON meeting for 2024-25 focused on the engagement of student officers and leaders in developing the Self-Evaluation and Action Plan (SEAP).
