Our first SESN (Student Engagement Staff Network) meeting of 2025-26 took place on Thursday 23rd October 2025, continuing our series of half-day events for staff in student engagement and academic representation support roles.

Timings and practical details
The Teams link was open from 9.50am, and the meeting itself began at 10.00am and finished by 12.30pm. It was free to join, and details of the joining arrangements were circulated to those who registered.
As we were not constrained by venue size, there was no limit to the number of participants from institutions. We still required delegates to register, though, so we knew numbers and could keep the event secure. As usual we specifically invited staff from institutions or students’ associations in Scotland with student engagement or academic representation responsibilities.
