A reminder about our induction resource for new academic representation co-ordinators and similar students’ association staff. Updated annually, the Induction guide for Academic Representation Co-ordinators contains helpful information for any new students’ association or institution staff member with a student engagement role.
No matter the new staff member’s prior experience or knowledge, the guide contains helpful context, resources, and reflective activities to support their induction. In the newest update in 2025, we added introductory information and activities related to the Student Learning Experience model and Scotland’s Ambition for Student Partnership. New guidance on the Tertiary Quality Enhancement Framework (TQEF) was also added to the guide, as well as a timeline of key events and activities for student engagement staff.
