SFC/HEA Embedding Equality and Diversity in the Curriculum Programme 2011

Researchers from the team managing the Special Interest Group element of a three year project have contacted sparqs to help publicise the opportunity for students to contribute to the research. Further details of the project are available on the HEA webiste.

Students are asked to submit a case study of good practice they have experienced relating to any lecturer that has delivered interesting work on embedding equality and diversity in the curriculum. Students submitting a case study of use to the team will receive a payment of £100. If you feel you might be able to submit something please contact one of the team for further information. The deadline for submission is the 16th May 2011.

Successful submissions will also be asked to attend a workshop on 21st June at Cardonald College in Glasgow for which travel and expenses will be paid. The workshop will allow the opportunity for students and staff to share experiences of curriculum related equality and diversity issues and further inform the work of the researcher
