An introduction to student partnership in Scotland's colleges and universities
 

  • Who is this activity designed for? Any staff member who’s new to student partnership and/or new to working within a Scottish tertiary education setting.

a) Acronym Buster (#1)

This web based resource provides a glossary of commonly used acronyms within the Scottish tertiary sector. It can also be downloaded as a Word document and adapted for your own context.
 

b) Introduction to Student Partnership - Part 1 (#2)

This resource can be viewed as a screencast below. It provides an introduction to Student Partnership, including why it’s important, it’s role within the Scottish tertiary sector, and why we should engage with it.

c) Introduction to the Student Learning Experience (SLE) model (#3) 

This resource can be viewed as a screencast (below) or a summary paper. It provides an introduction to the Student Learning Experience (SLE) model which is a key sector reference point within Scotland’s Tertiary Quality Enhancement Framework (TQEF).
