The aim of the event was to equip participants with the knowledge and ability to be an effective officer and work in partnership with their institution during the COVID-19 crisis.
Participants were required to complete a short online training module prior to the event. The online module provided essential background information to aid successful participation in the online training.
Through That’s Quality! training (comprised of the online face-to-face training event and compulsory online module), participants gained an understanding of:
- Student partnership and why it is important.
- The role of national agencies and how they support their work.
- The skills required to engage and support course reps and students in online or blended learning.
- Different developments in the sector and how officers can engage with these to improve their students’ learning experience.
