There's still time to register for our annual training event, That’s Quality! Universities 2019! The two-day residential event is taking place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th of July at West Park Conference Centre in Dundee.
The event is for university student officers with an education remit and students’ association staff, providing a comprehensive induction to the quality enhancement agenda and how to use it to improve your students’ learning experience. The training will provide a valuable addition to your planned induction for new officers - looking at why quality matters to students and how to use it to make change.
The event will enable student officers and students’ association staff to develop:
- A broad understanding of student partnership and student engagement in quality enhancement;
- An awareness and understanding of the five elements of the QEF;
- An understanding of the Enhancement Theme and how it relates to your students;
- An understanding of the different sources of data and information universities use and how you can use these to make change.
Please note that That’s Quality! participants must complete a short online training module prior to the event. The online module provides essential background information and thus successful participation in the face-to-face training is dependent on its completion. A link to the module will be sent to registered attendees in advance of the event.
As the event is residential, there is a cost to delegates for dinner, bed and breakfast, provided at West Park Dundee at a cost of £63.95 per delegate. sparqs will cover all the other costs associated with the training event, e.g. meeting rooms and catering. If you cannot attend, you are permitted to send an alternate from your institution. Please note that we reserve the right to charge the full fee if you should cancel, as detailed on the event page.
